Staffordshire-based sculptor, Gillie Nicholls has released a provocative new study in her signature medium of clay, entitled "Let Them Eat Pizza".
The artwork stands just 38cm high and features three toddlers and a baby who are so hungry that they are raiding a rat-infested wheelie-bin to retrieve the left overs from a pizza box, discarded by its owner.
Described by one observer as a "clay Banksy", the piece has provoked significant interest from a host of individuals and organisations, keen to project its message to a wider audience.
